The Facts
On CNN International today, they had a guest that was discussing the Iowa Caucus. He made the comment that Huckabee talked like a Democrat and still won Iowa.
My View
Two things about this comment by the CNN guest. First, Huckabee is not talking like a Democrat; he’s talking like the old Republicans before they became extremist. Second, this should tell most of America that the Republican voters have had enough of their party’s extremist actions.
How we got to this split in the two parties is a mystery to me. As I have said before, we basically have four parties now; extremist and normal Democrats and extremist and normal Republicans. And all we have to do is look at the last seven years to see the results of extremist Republicans. If Obama wins the Democratic nomination and Huckabee wins the Republican nomination, hopefully the extremist in both parties will wake up, but I doubt it. They are too arrogant and deep-rooted in their extremism.
